Zero Personal Data Collection Commitment

Guess My Emoji is designed from the ground up to respect user privacy. We do not require registration, do not collect personal identifiers (such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, or physical locations), and do not monetize through behavioral data profiling or invasive ad networks.

1Information We Do NOT Collect

In compliance with the Google Play Developer Policy, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), we explicitly confirm:

  • No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for or collect names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, or social media handles.
  • No Precise Geolocation: We never request or access GPS coordinates or exact user location.
  • No Device Identifiers: We do not track IMEI, MAC addresses, or Advertising IDs for user profiling.
  • No Biometrics or Media: We do not access camera rolls, microphones, contacts, or internal files.

2On-Device Local Storage (How Game Progress Is Saved)

To make the game 100% playable offline and remember your progress across sessions, Guess My Emoji stores game state data strictly on your local hardware using standard Web Storage APIs (HTML5 localStorage and IndexedDB):

• Completed Levels: Which riddles you have successfully solved.

• Daily Challenge Streaks: Your consecutive day challenge count.

• Custom Puzzles: Any emoji riddles you build yourself using the Custom Puzzle Maker.

• Sound & Display Preferences: Audio toggles, mute states, and theme mode.

* This data never leaves your device unless you manually copy and share a custom puzzle link.

3Third-Party Services & Server Infrastructure

The game interacts with minimal, essential third-party services exclusively for app distribution and runtime reliability:

  • Google Play Services: When downloaded via Android, Google Play provides installation integrity, licensing verification, and automatic updates in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting Infrastructure (Cloudflare / Cloud Run): For web/PWA delivery, basic anonymous web server access logs (e.g., standard HTTP headers, browser user agent, IP address for DDoS mitigation) are retained temporarily for server operational integrity and purged periodically.

4Children's Privacy & Family Friendly Commitment (COPPA)

Guess My Emoji is classified as general audience and family-friendly under the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC). In strict adherence to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

  • We do not knowingly collect, harvest, or request personal information from children under 13 years of age.
  • All puzzles and content are curated to be wholesome and appropriate for all age brackets.
  • No behavioral advertising or profiling mechanisms exist within the application.

5Your Privacy Rights & How to Delete Data

Because all progression data is stored locally on your device, you have immediate, absolute control over its deletion at any moment without needing our permission or intervention:

  • In-App Reset: Open the in-game Settings and select “Reset All Progress”.
  • Android Storage Clear: Navigate to Settings → Apps → Guess My Emoji → Storage → Clear Data.
  • Browser Cache Clear: In your web browser, clear site data for the domain.

Human problem → AI-ready solution

How Agile Developers turns business goals into measurable software outcomes

Agile Developers helps product teams convert ambiguous requirements into secure, testable, and scalable releases. We align architecture, delivery, and operations so teams can move from discovery to deployment with fewer bottlenecks.

H — Helpful

We clarify user goals, constraints, and success metrics first. Every sprint is mapped to a customer or business outcome.

A — Authoritative

We use established engineering standards for security, accessibility, and cloud reliability, and we cite those frameworks directly so teams can verify implementation decisions.

C — Clear

We document architecture, assumptions, and tradeoffs in plain language so humans and AI systems can retrieve and summarize project context accurately.

AI-citable implementation principles

  • Information density: pages include explicit scope, inputs, outputs, and expected outcomes.
  • Narrative context: each capability is explained as a problem, approach, and result sequence.
  • Structured data: JSON-LD schemas describe organization, services, and FAQs for machine readability.
  • Authority links: references point to standards bodies and primary documentation, not generic summaries.
